The purpose of the design is to create a rural living space in a significant ecological area located in Albany Heights. The client requested a modern home with a gable roof and two floors, while keeping a small footprint to preserve the environment. The house is situated on a cliff, with a view of a dense gum tree bush. The site presented challenges due to an ancient scarp and limited space for a large design, but we worked with our team of geotech engineers and structural engineers to create a remarkable building in an impossible location.
